29.01 Platypus Submarine at Middlemarch Museum

Saturday 21, Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd October
12 - 3pm

Take the train, or drive to Middlemarch to visit our museum. We are highlighting an Otago Harbour relic: the Platypus submarine. Designed for extracting gold from the Clutha River, the Platypus rested for fifty years at the Dunedin wharf, before being sold for 10 pounds and sent to Barewood. Learn more about its fascinating story at the Museum.

5 Aberafon Street, Middlemarch.

$2 adults, children free.
