Dunedin Heritage Photo Contest

14 - 23 October, duration of Festival

The Dunedin Heritage Photo Contest offers people the chance to celebrate Dunedin and Otago Harbour’s heritage.

Entries are open to everyone. Photos can be taken on any sort of camera – from smartphones to professional DSLRs. Photos must be taken from 8am on 13 October 2017 to 5pm on 23 October 2017.

Categories are defined by four Dunedin sections including:

  1. Built Heritage
  2. Cultural Heritage
  3. Harbour Heritage
  4. People and Heritage

The Supreme Winner will be selected by a judge who is a locally renowned photographer. The category winners will be chosen by the public voting on Otago Peninsula Trust’s and Southern Heritage Trust’s online and social media platforms. The online voting will take place from 25 October until 30 October.

Category Prize Winners – Family Pass to Royal Albatross Centre, Blue Penguins Pukekura and Fletcher House – worth $210.

Supreme Winner Prize – $200 prize voucher.

The Dunedin Heritage Festival Photo Contest is hosted by Otago Peninsula Trust as part of their 50th birthday celebrations.
